Happy O'Birthday!

I'm back and I brought a pot o' gold with me! Jeff, Raegan, Grant and I are happy to announce the arrival of Addison Tate.

A few anecdotal things about this birthing adventure. I DO NOT!!!! prefer c-sections. That's not to say I've had a bad experience, but I was traumatized. SERIOUSLY, I was. It was all so overwhelming that I cried through the whole thing and felt totally out of control. I missed not being abe to hold her the minute she came out. I hated being in recovery for an hour without her and most of all I hated not being able to move or have control over my body/legs. Not for me. But I suppose the most important thing is that Addison is healthy and I am recovering quite nicely. I hardly have any pain. It's mostly minor discomfort. It doesn't even bother me to go up the stairs. I'm happy to be at home because I missed my family and the warm feeling of being here. Hospitals are a bit isolating.
